Feb 28, 2024 · Its a click and add and 32 gb of dd4/5 ram for instance can often be found for 60-80$ or even part zombie reused. Meanwhile store computers often charge up to 1500-2500$ for a 12 gb ram Intel iris is (5-20x slower than a 3060/4090, but 14-40 fps functional) card. The game itself could probably benefit a lot from ram optimization though.

Also getting a better graphics card will help your in game experiences as well. yeah i get good fps (80-100) but some times i get some random stutters and its a bit annoying. If you buy 32GB of RAM just for Rust you're a fool. I mean no disrespect by saying that either, but it would be true.

best case is to split it among drives. With 16GB or less I have always used a 2:1 ratio unless 4GB or under then 4:1 (16GB page). I have found that letting windows manage or doing 1.5:1 would ocasionally cause issues with exceptionally high RAM usage, where the bigger pageshad just enough room to keep things chugging.

32 is just a "nice to have". just how 16 was few years ago. every few years minimal recommended ram, even for "office" tasks doubles. 16 is now minimum reasonable, up until few years ago 8gb was considered minimum. #1. I have 32 GB. 16 GB was not enough and 32 GB is a little overkill. I do not just do gaming with my machine: i7-3770k @ 4.4 Ghz + 32 GB 1600 Mhz RAM. The CPU it seems will still be good for a while.

Sep 29, 2023 · No. That's over kill, 32GB would most likely be all you need for full city gameplay. Vanilla. Now if you want a game with Mods and countless mods, then 64GB is most likely needed. 16GB is recommended but it's not the true amount the game uses, it could be more.
