Did a very mild shunt mod (about 20% increase in power from 350W to 420W), and then proceeded to evaluate every point on the frequency curve to manage the best OC I could get.

Apr 29, 2021 · The Zotac is actually quieter than the nzxt case fans but not the noctua. But if I were to throw the noctua's at 1700 rpm, the zotac is surprisingly quieter. No coil whine or anything abnormal. Conclusion, I really like the Zotac 3080. A lotta people have bagged on Zotac but all those problems I have not experienced.

i have the 3080 trinity 10gb. i think it was a great priced gpu, and i love the boost in fps over a 3060. the fans are pretty loud in default curve, so i set myself a custom fan curve in afterburner to keep them slower unless really hot.

My memory temps go up to 92c on high gaming loads and the GPU temps can reach up to 80c on high gaming load (especially RTX high/ultra with high/ultra settings on Cyberpunk at 1440p).

May 23, 2021 · Recently I've noticed my zotac rtx 3080 trinity OC fans were turning off an on constantly. Like I said I'm no expert, but I think it may be because its straddling a temp threshold. Having the fans turn on and off every few seconds doesn't seem like healthy behaviour so I downloaded MSI Afterburner.
