Oct 20, 2021 · It doesn’t really seem like an obsession either, an obsession is where Tsukasa constantly searches Amane out and does anything he can to get him alone with him. Tsukasa barely even interacts with Amane outside of when Amane appears in the same room as him to which he affectionately hugs him like a little sibling would do to their older sibling.

In this timeline since Amane was still sick as a child since nothing changed that part of the timeline. It wasn’t supernatural related that caused Tsukasa to sacrifice himself to save Amane. Amane was just sick. (But Tsukasa being able to sacrifice himself is supernatural but Amane being sick is not so far as we know) That is why Tsukasa died.

And then playing together could mean whole different thing. When Nene met Amane in Tea Party arc it was a bit strange to see a bruise on his neck. If bullies were really bullying him, why the neck?

They might pull some kind of switcheroo where Tsukasa was the loving brother all along and Amane was the monster. We just don't know anything yet. Dec 10, 2022 · Strangely, Amane says that he "hasn't understood Tsukasa for a while now" in Chapter 96, further leaning into this doppelganger idea. But as we can see in Chapter 82, Tsukasa says he wants to "learn more about Amane" after Kou tells him Amane will kill him. And so, his soul burns, and he is most likely transported back to 1961.
