Over the past years, the Prayer & Action Against Hunger Coalition has commissioned unique pieces of art from diverse artists around the world. These works are designed to enrich our spiritual reflections and inspire action against hunger.

The painters and sculptors responded in their art works to the possibility of a world free from hunger. These artists employed a full range of aesthetic tools from humor to allegory, from metaphor to existential simplification. The art engaged us in questioning our own views on the Issue of hunger.

Our Six murals will raise awareness and mobilize action to combat global food insecurity and, in the US, food injustice that disproportionately impacts African-Americans communities. The series is made possible by Kellogg, a UN Global Compact member.
