Produced during an era that created iconic Emerson desk fans, this model was a precursor to the 29646 which has become an notable icon in the Fan Collector community. Introduced in 1917, the 24 series of models ran into 1919 before replaced by the 27 series.

1917-18 was a very busy transitional time for Emerson 12"& 16" desk & bracket fans. Early 1917 was using up old stock and gradually transitioning into the new models and materials used. 🙂. I am confident WW1 played a major role in the transition. To answer your $350 question, brass brings the bucks at my house.

Nov 24, 2019 · This is a rare early style Emerson 24646 12 oscillator brass Parker blade fan. It has the original dipped black paint in fair condition for 1917. The brass Parker blade has heavy patina, with no bends or dings.
