Get 32gb, no extra need for 64gb unless you do 4k and 8k video editing, for ddr4 3600mhz or 4000mhz will be good, for ddr5 5600mhz or 6000mhz, if you are getting ryzen 5000 get 4000mhz ddr4, if your getting ryzen 7000 get 6000mhz ddr5. If you just wanna play games then 32gb might be the best option.

Sep 27, 2023 · If you multitask, play heavy simulation or modded games, then yes 32gb of RAM will help. When I play all the mods on Minecraft for instance going to a better CPU and 32gb of RAM made the game smoother for me. Especially if you want to get into editing, rendering, or workstation use, 32gb is slowly becoming the new normal.

May 1, 2022 · Once I upgraded from 16 to 32 it went away completely. In general, strategy games like the above or Cities: Skylines come to mind. But as others have said, multitasking with Chrome, Discord etc. also needs to be considered. I think we're at the point of seriously needing to consider 32GB for high-end builds.

Jan 3, 2022 · Sounds like 32GB may be useful to you right now. 32gb will help with productivity although probably not with gaming. 32 all the way, games are recommending 16 minimum, more ram is just better to have. Use the Task Manager to monitor memory utilization of the system as a whole and for your individual applications.
