At least two people are dead in an ongoing active shooter situation in northern Idaho. Firefighters were reportedly ambushed while responding to a brush fire near Coeur d'Alene Sunday afternoon. Authorities say there are an unknown number of casualties and injuries as the area is still taking sniper fire from a suspect or suspects.

Two people were injured in a shooting in Milwaukee early Sunday morning. According to the Milwaukee Police Department, at about 1:38 a.m., a 37-year-old and a 27-year-old were shot in the area of 19th and Becher.

A 55-year-old Lakeview man has been charged with murder after police said he shot two teen boys Thursday evening in Douglass Park – killing a 15-year-old and seriously wounding a 14-year-old.

Prosecutors said a 55-year-old lifeguard, who is a decorated Marine veteran, violated Chicago Park District policy by bringing a gun to work when he allegedly shot two teens, one fatally. The suspect claims it was self defense.
