The lawyer whose defense team won acquittal for Sean “Diddy” Combs on life-sentence-eligible charges says the music mogul was greeted by a standing ovation from fellow prisoners when he returned to jail after the verdict.

Sean Diddy Combs was found guilty on Wednesday of prostitution-related offenses but cleared of more serious charges of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking.

A Manhattan jury convicted Combs on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution in relation to his ex-partners Casandra "Cassie" Ventura and "Jane," who both testified during the trial.
