Willie Nelson and his long-running Outlaw Music Festival canceled a concert in Oklahoma following an "extreme weather event" over the weekend.

The Outlaw Music Festival's concert in Oklahoma on Tuesday was canceled because of an "extreme weather event," Willie Nelson said in a statement posted on social media. Newsweek has contacted Nelson's representative for comment outside regular working hours.

The Oklahoma stop on Willie Nelson’s Outlaw Festival tour was recently canceled due to “unforeseen circumstances.” Nelson, along with iconic musicians like Bob Dylan, were set to perform July 1 at the Lucky Star Amphitheater in El Reno, Oklahoma, when Nelson took to social media on June 30 to reveal the show would no longer be happening.
