According to the Santa Ana Police Department, officers responded to Santa Ana High School on Friday to a report of a student involved in an inappropriate relationship with a teacher.

The student reportedly told police he had been having sexual relations with the Orange resident for around 6 months.

A high school teacher was arrested on charges related to sexual acts with a student, according to Franklin County Sheriff’s Office. Artem Robert Moyer, 30, of Rocky Mount was charged with one felony count of indecent liberties with a child by custodian and one felony count of object sexual penetration.
