Juan Soto reportedly shed a little light on his free-agent priorities during a meeting with the Boston Red Sox, and they should have Steve Cohen and the New York Mets very excited.

The New York Mets can find viable options among free agents who were New York Yankees players last season in addition to Juan Soto but should avoid trading for two players in particular.

“The Mets want to improve the team and there is no doubt that they will go after free agents, especially Juan Soto, who everybody wants,” he said. “The Mets will go full blast for him.” Mets owner Steve Cohen is meeting with Soto and his agent, Scott Boras, in California this week.
