The Wildcat band is fired up as Pueblo Central looks to get its first playoff win since 2012 as they take on Lutheran. The Wildcats win the game 36-34 against the Lions.

Some of the area winners include teams in our preseason top-10 countdown, such as Westlake, LBJ, Dripping Spring and Lake Travis. But the competition should be tougher in the area playoffs next round.

The TSSAA football playoffs continue on Friday with the second round across the state. All nine classifications are competing in the postseason this weekend, with eyes on next month's BlueCross Bowl state championship games in Chattanooga.
