‘Silo’ takes place in a postapocalyptic bunker, but for Canadian Graham Yost it all started in a house in Etobicoke
Based on a trilogy of novellas by Hugh Howey, “Silo” is set in a postapocalyptic future in a 144-storey underground structure that is home to 10,000 people. Its residents have no knowledge of history beyond the past 140 years when, they are told, rebels destroyed all books, files and computer hard drives with information about the “before times.”
