After years of questions about its future, the site of the former Park Hill Golf Course has been acquired by the City of Denver, which plans to turn the space into an urban park.

Denver will acquire the former Park Hill Golf Course in an unprecedented land swap deal that will give the city its fourth largest park, Mayor Mike Johnston said Wednesday.
