Yu Yu Hakusho made its live-action series debut with Netflix late last year, and the series has quickly gone on to break viewership records with the first few weeks of its streaming with the service.

In the Yu Yu Hakusho live-action series, it's brought up much earlier, around episode 3, and dilutes the impact of the revelation that Younger Toguro and Genkai knew each other.

Not only does the young Toguro reveal one hundred percent of his power before the Dark Tournament takes place here, he also is killed by Yusuke Urameshi to cap off Yu Yu Hakusho’s first season.

But honestly, neither did One Piece, and that turned out pretty good. We’ll see if Netflix’s live-action success streak continues when Yu Yu Hakusho debuts on Netflix on December 14th.
