Philadelphia Eagles’ Saquon Barkley and his family are in the spotlight after the running back shared handshakes with his children ahead of the NFC championship game.

“It was fun to be out there and see the confetti and things you envision, but the most special thing about it was being out there with my family,” Barkley said. “I know I’ve never been there, but I’ve been there so many times in my head.” This, the celebration, the shot at a Super Bowl, was why Barkley signed with the Eagles, he said.

Barkley and the Giants failed to come to an agreement on a longterm deal for over a year and the running back joined the Eagles on a three-year, $37.75 million deal. In Sunday’s 55-23 win over Washington, he finished with with 118 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries.
