A Topeka man has been arrested following an investigation of an early morning shooting on Saturday6. Just after 2:00 a.m., officers with the Topeka Police Department (TPD) responded to a report of a shooting in the 400 block of SW Lincoln.

A Topekan has been arrested in connection to a house fire that killed 46-year-old David S. Blevens. One individual has been arrested and booked relating to an October, 2024 house fire, according to a news release from the Topeka Fire Department (TFD).
