Russia has launched over 100 drones targeting civilian areas in Ukraine. Ukrainian officials say at least 10 civilians were killed and 38 injured in the past 24 hours.

July 7 (UPI) -- The Kremlin announced Monday that Russia's transport minister has been terminated. There wasn't any official reason given for why Roman Vladimirovich Starovoit was fired from his post, but he was immediately replaced by Andrei Sergeevich Nikitin, according to a statement released Monday.

Ukraine said it struck a Russian air base on Saturday, while Russia continued to attack Ukraine with hundreds of drones overnight as part of a stepped-up bombing campaign that has dashed hopes for a breakthrough in efforts to end the more than 3-year-old war.
