A suspect arrested outside the U.S. Capitol in January with Molotov cocktails and a knife has been charged with the attempted assassination Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent.
The man is now charged with carrying a dangerous weapon or incendiary device on the grounds of the Capitol, and unlawful possession of an incendiary device, the department said.
