On Wednesday afternoon, the state unveiled what’s being touted as the "Christmas Movie Trail," the first of its kind in all of the country. 12 lucky local residents entered a contest to be guests at the launch in the house where the Hallmark movie “Christmas on Honeysuckle Lane” was filmed in Wethersfield.

Take a stroll and revisit some of your favorite holiday films on the Connecticut Christmas Movie Trail, including: 1) “The Noel Diary” — Hottie Justin Hartley (“Tracker,” “This is Us”) returns home for Christmas and finds a mysterious diary that may tell him about his past.

The trail includes stops at filming locations for 22 Christmas movies by studios like Hallmark and Lifetime, with recommendations for places to eat, drink and stay.
