DeKalb water main repaired, road reopened; boil water advisory still in place
UPDATE]: Repairs to the broken water main in DeKalb County were completed Thursday afternoon, Commissioner Ted Terry confirmed. The pipe on Clairmont Road burst Tuesday, causing the road between Bragg Street and Dresden Drive to close and several businesses to shutter their doors.

Boil water advisory alerted for major portion of DeKalb County including Emory area
DeKalb County Commissioner Robert Patrick posted a map on Facebook of the boil water advisory boundaries that were included in the alerts to phones. He included an apparent county release saying the advisory was being issued "out of an abundance of caution."

DeKalb water main repairs will continue overnight; boil water advisory in effect
The pipe broke Tuesday, causing a hole to form on Clairmont Road. The county said nearly 8,800 households, representing an estimated 20,000 people, in the Toco Hill neighborhood and surrounding areas have low to no water pressure. Emory University is also impacted.
