American Idol Season 23 finalist John Foster visited his hometown of Louisiana on May 14, 2025. During his visit, he went to his high school, Brusly High School, where the town welcomed and cheered the finalist.

“American Idol” officially has its top three singers that will be headed to the finale. Disney night continued on the May 12 episode of the singing competition show, which saw the final five contestants perform twice — one Disney-themed Heroes and one Villains themed track — for America’s vote.

After the remaining five competitors each gave their all with their renditions of hit Disney songs Monday night, America voted for the Top 3 singers and said goodbye to Thunderstorm Artis and Slater Nalley. The Top 3 will compete in the finale next week and head to their hometowns for a special visit.
