Liberty Bridge's Weight Limit Restored To 30 Tons With new reinforcements being put in place, the nine-ton weight limit on the Liberty Bridge was lifted Thursday morning.

Residents on Sunday, Aug. 3, gathered outside the Bay County building downtown in protest of the Bay City Bridge Partners in what is dubbed the “Our City, Our Bridges” rally.

The crash happened after 1 p.m. near the Liberty Bridge inbound on the city side. Allegheny County 911 officials tell us a woman was taken to the hospital.
