Four died and six are missing after a Korean fishing boat reportedly capsized and sank off the coast of Habaek Island in Yeosu, South Jeolla, early Sunday.

SEOUL -- Five people went missing after a fishing boat with 10 people, including six South Koreans, three Vietnamese and one Indonesian, on board capsized off South Korea's southern resort island of Jeju Wednesday, according to multiple media outlets.

A fishing trawler with 14 crew members on board sank in waters off Korea's southern coast early Sunday, leaving four people dead and five others missing, officials said. Rescue efforts are underway.

Two people were dead and two others went missing on Saturday after two fishing boats carrying 15 crew members ran aground in waters off the southern resort island of Jeju in South Korea, according to the Coast Guard.

A fishing boat crewed by 14 people sank off the southern coastal city of Yeosu, some 320 kilometers south of Seoul, in the early hours of Sunday, leaving at least three dead. The Yeosu branch of the Korea Coast Guard is currently searching for six crew members of the 239-ton trawler Seogyeong who remain unaccounted for.

Search efforts were underway Thursday to locate five missing crew members after a 32-ton fishing boat capsized off the coast of Jeju Island on Wednesday.
