He also spent four years with the Eagles as director of player personnel before the Jets hired him in 2019 to be their general manager.

Former New York Jets general manager Joe Douglas is back in the NFL. The Philadelphia Inquirer 's Jeff McLane reported that the Philadelphia Eagles hired Douglas as a senior scout. He had worked as the team's vice president of player personnel from 2016-19 before leaving to run New York's front office.

Per the report, Douglas will have a senior scouting role with the reigning Super Bowl champs. Douglas worked for the Ravens from 2000-2014 and had a brief stint with the Bears bef
