The rink will host public skating, rentals, private lessons and other ice-related activities. Tickets for residents are $10 for adults and $9 for youth and seniors.

Quincy's free, seasonal outdoor skating rink opens to the public at noon on Monday. For the second winter, the city is providing free ice time and skate rentals in the downtown area.

That allows for 75 minutes of dedicated skate time, and a break for ice resurfacing between groups. Adjoining the rink is a large outdoor TV playing sports and Christmas movies, the release noted.
