Every painting tells a story. The painting I saw out by a Dumpster last night tells the story of the scrawny little pine tree that was always being bullied by the other trees in the forest.
The Gifford Fire, burning in Los Padres National Forest near California’s Central Coast, had grown to more than 72,000 acres as of Tuesday, Aug. 5.
The Gifford fire has burned nearly 40,000 acres of rugged hillside in Los Padres National Forest. Three people have been injured, according to the U.S. Forest Service.
