Union Berlin put an end to their run of 10 winless Bundesliga matches with a 2-1 home victory against Mainz on Sunday. Their previous win was a 2-0 at promoted Holstein Kiel on october 20, 2024. Their negative series included seven defeats.

After ten games without a win, Union Berlin come from behind to beat Mainz 2-1 at home in the 18th round of the Bundesliga.
