Only one more half stands between Oregon and the win they were favored to collect coming into this afternoon. They have jumped out to a quick 31-30 lead against Purdue. Oregon entered the match having won three straight and they're just one half away from another.

Oregon's offense struggled in Saturday's loss to Purdue, but coach Dana Altman also gave plenty of credit to the Boilermakers' defensive effort.

Defense travels, and No. 15 Purdue basketball’s winning streak reached seven with a 65-58 victory at No. 14 Oregon on Saturday.

The Boilermakers are currently 14-4 and the Ducks are 15-2. The Ducks’ record in their last ten games is 7-2 while the Boilermakers’ record is 5-0 in 2025. Wednesday night Purdue won at Washington, 69-58. Oregon also won their last game. The Ducks won at Penn State, 82-81.

After the Ducks cut it to four, Purdue scored seven straight points following the final TV timeout. Two free throws by Gicarri Harris with 2:20 left made it 59-48. The Boilermakers hit five foul shots to ice the game after Oregon drew within 60-56.
