Martin Truex Jr. will aim to make the first start of his post-retirement career in NASCAR's biggest race, next month's Daytona 500.

Tricon Garage, which competes in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, will field a Daytona 500 entry for former Cup champion Martin Truex Jr. It marks the first Cup event for the Toyota team.

As a reserve driver for Joe Gibbs Racing, Truex has to be ready for anything. "It's about knowing all the plays," he said.
