The latest NFL rumors indicates the Seattle Seahawks are discussing a blockbuster trade with the Green Bay Packers.

Smith, the Packers have been in talks with the Seahawks to complete a trade that would send D.K. Metcalf to Green Bay in exchange for a “high draft pick and young receiver on the roster.” Packers insider Peter Bukowski posted on X that he can confirm Smith’s reporting that the Packers hope to trade cornerback Jaire Alexander after acquiring Metcalf to recoup the draft capital they’d send to Seattle in the deal.

While all eyes will soon be on the free agent market, set to begin March 12 in the NFL landscape, a couple of Pro Bowl stars could also be available via trade. Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf recently requested a trade after six years with the organization.

The Green Bay Packers have a franchise quarterback in Jordan Love, who specializes in throwing deep routes that give his wide receivers chances to make big plays. The problem in Green is that they lack the true dominant outside wideout who can best take advantage of those route concepts.
