Japan's most popular mascot character -- above the likes of even Pikachu, Hello Kitty, Totoro or Mario -- is about to stream on Netflix for U.S. fans.

Netflix subscription holders are especially making their interest in anime known, although it’s not a full win entirely for the platform.
