100,000 gallons of wastewater spilled into North Texas creek after overnight rain
According to the City of Waxahachie, overnight rain from Wednesday night into Thursday morning caused a massive amount of wastewater to overflow and spill into a stream that feeds into Waxahachie Creek. City officials said the overflow was not stopped until around 1:25 p.m. on Thursday and estimated over 100,000 gallons were spilled.
