More snow and below freezing temperatures could be headed to South Carolina soon. Here is the latest forecasts.

After a small snow event in early January, a cold snap is headed toward the Southeast next week, dropping temperatures into the teens with a chance of snow.

Snow will turn into sleet and freezing rain along parts of the Southeast, as well as southern Arkansas, the weather service reported. Forecasters warn that icy conditions, between a tenth and a quarter inch of ice, will make travel dangerous for many. Power outages and downed branches are also a concern.

The Upstate's Greenville and the Midlands' Columbia saw winter weather. Florence County saw freezing rain and sleet due to the ocean's warm water temperature.

The Florida Panhandle could see a brief period of snow or ice next week, if the right conditions combine. Bottom line: Cold temps coming.
