In a surprising twist, traditionally powerful countries like the United States and the United Kingdom have slipped down the rankings.

Singapore has consistently ranked in the top two and has remained amongst the top ten for over two decades, according to data from Henley Global.

A Singapore passport has been ranked as the world’s most powerful in 2025, while the U.S. passport lost some of its travel power, according to data from migration advisory firm Henley & Partners.
