A manhunt ended in Texas when a Houston man accused of shooting and killing a deputy serving a warrant on him in the parking lot of a Dollar Tree, was fatally shot by police.

Alliance police shot and killed a man suspected of shooting a woman Thursday morning at the Alliance Towers. According to police, the shooting victim has also died. She has been identified by the Stark County Coroner as Stacy Price,

An officer was hospitalized and police were searching for one person after a shooting Thursday morning in southwest Houston, officials said. Officials with the Houston Police Department provided limited details about the shooting on Twitter, saying preliminary information was that someone had shot an officer from another agency and fled on foot.
