Hundreds of people have been evacuated from their homes near the Oak Ridge Fire, near Window Rock on the Navajo Nation.

F anned by strong winds, the Oak Ridge Fire grew to over 9,846 acres by its third day, prompting late-night notifications and the potential for more Navajo Nation communities to be affected.

The Oak Ridge Fire continues to grow on the Navajo Nation. As of Tuesday morning, the fire has burned over 9,800 acres and is 0% contained. Multiple evacuations have been ordered and officials believe the fire is human-caused.
