The Cameroon international has been the subject of wide-ranging speculation during the off-season. United have reportedly had multiple bids for Mbeumo rejected, with Brentford thought to be standing firm on their valuation, which is said to be in excess of £62.5 million ($85.1 million).

Brentford are in "constant dialogue" with Bryan Mbeumo and are adamant it is "not impossible" the Man Utd target remains at the Gtech Stadium this summer.

Brentford reportedly values the Cameroon winger at £62.5m upwards, the same amount that United paid for Wolves striker Matheus Cunha. However, although it looks likely United will sign Mbeumo, they also need to consider alternatives if they fail to sign Mbeumo.
