Chelsea have reached an agreement with Brighton & Hove Albion to sign Joao Pedro. The 23-year-old Brazilian was targeted by Chelsea and Newcastle United but he only wanted to join the west London side.

Brighton forward Joao Pedro has agreed to a contract with Chelsea worth up to £60 million. The 23-year-old will go from Brazil to the United States for a physical and to play for Enzo Maresca’s team at the Club World Cup after agreeing to a seven-year contract with Chelsea.
