An EF-3 tornado damaged or destroyed hundreds of homes in eastern Oklahoma County on Nov. 3, 2024. Rocky Campbell and Emily Swenson said they were able to survive the storm by gathering their family into the closet.

In early November, the grandmother of Ryan Milam survived an EF-3 tornado. Milam spoke about the moment his grandmother experienced a tornado in early November, how the injuries she sustained caused her to be hospitalized twice and how people can help her rebuild after the disaster.
