University of Southern California football coach Lincoln Riley was credited with a little more than $11.5 million in total compensation for the 2023 calendar year, the school’s new federal tax returns show.

As a reminder, USC went 8-5 during the 2023 season. This means that Riley was paid nearly $1.5 million per victory that year. Given how much of the university's money he is receiving, it is totally valid for USC fans to expect much better results from their head coach.
