Indian Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan was stabbed in a scuffle with an intruder at his Mumbai home and has undergone surgery at a hospital.

Popular Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan has undergone surgery and is out of danger after he was stabbed by an intruder in his home overnight, his team has said. The attack took place early on Thursday morning in an upscale neighbourhood in the Indian city of Mumbai, where Khan lives with his family.

A few years later, Shah Rukh Khan starred in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai alongside Kajol and Rani Mukerji. According to DNA, the makers of this romantic comedy had initially offered the role of Aman Mehra to Saif Ali Khan. However, he declined the project due to unknown reasons, and Salman Khan ended up taking up the part in the Karan Johar directorial.
