Former Pittsburgh Steelers safety Damontae Kazee has signed a one-year deal with the Cleveland Browns. The Steelers signed former Browns safety Juan Thornhill to replace Kazee as the third safety, and now the Browns are signing Kazee to replace Thornhill.

The Cleveland Browns agreed to sign free agent safety Damontae Kazee to a one-year contract, a source familiar with the deal told UPI on Monday.

After three seasons as a Pittsburgh Steelers safety, tormenting the Browns twice per year, Damontae Kazee has signed a free agent deal to join Cleveland, per Mike Garafolo. Kazee signs with the Browns not long after safety Juan Thornhill left Cleveland in free agency to join the Steelers, essentially swapping places in the AFC North.
