Lakers jersey history No. 13 — Walter James 'Corky' Devlin
In 1955, the Philadelphia Warriors took Walter James "Corky" Devlin, a 6-foot-5 guard who attended George Washington University, in the second round of the NBA draft. He spent his first two seasons in the league with the Fort Wayne Pistons, and prior to the 1957-58 season, he was traded to the Lakers.
