Karnataka Rajyotsava is celebrated to honor the efforts of all those who worked toward the unification of the Kannada-speaking regions, as well as to celebrate the vibrant identity of the state.

Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah also attended the event. Karnataka Foundation Day, also known as ‘Kannada Rajyotsava’, is celebrated to mark the formation of the southern state on November 1.
