The things we handle carefully are usually the things we hold in high esteem. When it comes to the holy Eucharist, the living sacramental presence of Jesus Christ, this should be true all the more.

It has hardly been a year since the conclusion of the Year of the Rosary and we have yet again another initiative of the Holy Father: The Year of the Eucharist (October 2004 – October 2005).
