This approach to makeup — and drag in general — didn't always come easily. Chase (known out of drag as Chase Ingrande) grew up believing that boys couldn't wear makeup.

The performers tell them that drag queens have fun, tell jokes and wear shiny jewelry. They tell the children that drag clothes and makeup are for everyone.
