The Bruins have yet to officially announce their captain, but one post may have leaked the information ahead of time.

In a since deleted post from the soccer club’s official account on X, Spurs highlighted midfielder Xavi Simons and his work “on the recovery trail” in Boston. That included time at the Bruins’ training facility where, the post read, Simons “exchanged jerseys with captain David Pastrnak and linked up with Celtics star Jayson Tatum.”
