WSSC Water is still working to fix about 50 water main breaks across Montgomery and Prince George’s counties with frigid temperatures making the situation harder. At about 11 p.m. on Tuesday, WSSC Officials said crews were in the Suitland/Hillcrest area near Dianna Drive fixing a water main break.

WSSC Water is working to repair several water main breaks across Montgomery and Prince George's counties. However, with temperatures continuing to plummet, the water company said it has responded to hundreds of water main breaks and leaks since the start of January.

There are dozens of water main breaks and leaks in the D.C. area, and WSSC Water is asking residents to limit their water use so that crews can make repairs.
