Super Micro Computer Inc. gave a sales forecast in the current period that fell short of estimates, disappointing investors after the server maker last week released lackluster preliminary quarterly results for the previous quarter.

The server maker cut its sales outlook for fiscal 2025, citing short-term impacts of heightened economic uncertainty and tariffs that prompted some customers to delay orders of new servers and computer products.

The server manufacturer is now expecting revenue between $4.5 billion and $4.6 billion, a considerable drop from its previous guidance of $5 billion to $6 billion.
